Arctic Paper
Arctic Paper is Europe’s biggest natural paper manufacturer, with strong product brands like Munken and Arctic Volume. The Swedish company’s paper has won many fans among discerning designers in agencies and publishing houses, who use it to create high-quality reports, books and catalogues. But how do you go about maintaining a leading position with analogue products in an increasingly digital world? We have been providing Arctic Paper with strategic and creative support in answering precisely this question for some years now.

Arctic Paper Design Collections
Paper has to fit a brand just like a logo or a color. So that designers can find the perfect paper for their projects quickly and precisely, we are designing a set with two paper collections – Munken Design and Arctic Volume. We create lavish illustrations for the set and the pattern books in cooperation with Zeitguised, and in doing so we visually explore the interface between the tactile and virtual world. The Göteborgstryckerie printing house turns this into a haptic experience. Reward for the team performace: the silver medal at the Swedish Design Award 2017.

Munken Creativity Edition
Our paper sculptures edition made from Munken paper is a homage to all creatives who refuse to turn back before reaching the summit. Rather, they always give 100 percent. The film we designed to illustrate this has been viewed thousands of times on numerous blogs and online magazines such as Trendland.
Cutting the edges
Arctic Paper launches new swatch books for the brands Arctic, Amber and G-Print, as well as the two Munken grades Munken Print and Munken Premium.

Munken White Book
How do you print a book without a drop of color? We’ve decided to try it with our “Whitebook” project. Through pure blind embossing, we create illustrations of endangered species, which one can either marvel at or allow to disappear – depending on how you hold the book.
