Atomic Playfulness
Holisticon is a technology consultancy for digital transformation. With its holistic consulting approach, Holisticon ideates, develops and manages the transformation of its clients at all levels – strategy, technology and organization. For the new branding, we took this idea of detail and whole, that gives Holisticon its name, into account with a design system in which two points form the playful key elements. The contrasts between fast and calm movements, light and dark colors and surfaces, transparent and opaque shapes or small and large elements create tension, dynamism and lightness and make transformation tangible. Flexible to use, movable and easily expandable, the design supports Holisticon on its way to becoming a leading technology consultancy.
Rebranding supports internal transformation
Since it was founded in 2007, Holisticon has thrived on its enthusiastic team, which stands behind the brand and is actively involved in its further development. From brand strategy to rollout – in the rebranding process, we involve employees in the transformation of their own brand. To this end, we create moments in the process such as strategy announcements, voting for design routes with the entire team, photo sessions with a selfie box and design talks.
Technical implementation
The challenge in implementing the »Atomic« animation on the web is to animate many thousands of elements with high performance. We therefore use WebGL shaders so that most of the calculations are performed by the GPU instead of the CPU. We also use OGL instead of Three.js, as this loads seven times less JavaScript and makes the website significantly more performant.
